Sysäys support party and queer hangout was held at Onkiniemi Ateljee, on the same day as the 2024 Manse Pride march and main party. In the event we hang out with likeminded queer folks, enjoyed soft tunes by dj emotional labour, moved our bodies to some danceoke videos and indulged in Purmeli Café’s vegan goodies.
Kehotus, organised in Spring 2023, was a queerfeminist event built around the themes of corporeality and bodily self-determination, bringing together people from the fields of science, art and culture.
Queer Magic summoned a one night magical world, which included a themed drag show and magical DJs. The evening’s queer drag broke down ideas about who can do drag and in what ways – it’s political, feminist and inclusive.
Sysäys collective organised its first event 12.1.2019 at Maanalainen. New year, still queer included danceoke, queer drag performers and two DJ-sets. The event was sold out.
