Come hang out with likeminded queer folks, enjoy soft tunes by dj emotional labour, move your body to some danceoke videos and indulge in Purmeli Café’s vegan goodies. All the while supporting the local queer culture in Tampere and future events by Sysäys Collective.
The support party and queer hangout is held on Saturday 15.6.2024 at 18-22 at Onkiniemi Ateljee, on the same day as the Manse Pride march and main party. You’re welcome to come rest and relax after the march, to start or continue pride partying and/or to sense the alternative queerfeminist atmosphere.

Onkiniemi Ateljee is located in the Särkänniemi area, in the Suomen Trikoo factory building. Unfortunately, Onkiniemi Ateljee’s premises are not wheelchair accessible.
The entrance is located right at the corner of the factory building. The ground slopes down before the front door, so we recommend caution when moving.
- Entrance doorway width: 85 cm.
- Entrance threshold height: approx. 7 cm.
Two stairs and a ramp go down from the entrance.
- Height of the upper step: 12 cm.
- Height of lower step: 14 cm.
- Ramp width: 120 cm.
The ramp is covered with a vestibule-like fabric material.
The floor material of the space varies by area, the materials are plastic mat, concrete and tile.
There are various carpets on the floor.
There is one toilet in the facility, which is not wheelchair accessible.

Flashing lights may be used at events and, for example, the volume of the music being played can be loud.
It can also be dark in places.
Onkiniemi Atelje uses the principles of a safer space.
